Men - Inter Club Foursomes Championship

Sunday 13th September 2026 - Ferndown-Old Course, White Tees

The County Inter-Club Men's Foursome Championship will be held at Ferndown Golf Club on Sunday 13th September 2026, and it is hoped all clubs will support the event by ensuring they enter two pairs into the Championship.

There is no entry fee for this competition & entries will be accepted from all clubs affiliated to Dorset Golf.

18-Hole Foursomes Strokeplay Medal

1. Two pairs of players shall represent each club. 
2. The pair with the lower combined Playing Handicap shall be the 1st team, and the pair with the higher Playing Handicap shall be the 2nd team.
3. Each pair of players will play 18 holes medal foursomes.
4. The Interclub Foursomes Trophy shall be presented to the club recording the lowest nett aggregate score. 
5. In the event of a tie the trophy will be shared. 
6. All other ties will be decided by matching scorecards (card countback) as outlined in 5A(6)d in the Official Guide to the Rules of Golf.
7. A prize will be awarded to the pair returning the lowest gross score.
8. Gross and nett prizes will be awarded immediately after play
9. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of play.
