Dorset Pairs
- The Dorset Pairs Competition (DCGA) is available to all affiliated male Dorset Golf club players.
- These competitive events offer the opportunity to enjoy a friendly day's golf, and at the same time raise money for Dorset junior golf development.
- There are eight events per year at various venues in the County, including an end of season Christmas finale with lunch.
- The event format is four ball betterball pairs and playing partners can change from event to event and do not need to be from the same club.
- Entry fee per event is only £30 with prizes given for numerous places.
- All money raised goes towards Junior Golf Development, investing in the future of Dorset Golf.
- There is also a Dorset Pairs Order of Merit with the Champion(s) crowned at the Christmas meeting.

Dorset Pairs Rules
- The Dorset Pairs (DCGA) will be open to all players, with no entry fee, who are members of a club affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union.
- The top 15 positions in each event will be awarded points on the following scale: 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (ties decided by countback).
- The total aggregated points determine position in the Order of Merit.
- Players are not restricted in the number of events they can enter.
- On completion of all events, any ties in the Order of Merit will be decided by most wins, most runner-up etc
- The Winner(s) of the Order of Merit will receive the Trophy.
- All disputes and other matters relating to the Dorset Pairs will be decided by the Executive Committee whose decision shall be final.
